Keeping our bakery open during the Covid crisis|Our plan to deliver success
It's amazing how quickly things change. One moment we were blowing out the candles at lavish parties with tons of friends and the next moment we are confined to our homes in an effort to save our country.Although a national pandemic was not what any of us planned, it is now the new norm we are in.
The way we do things in life now during this pandemic may be different for awhile. However, one thing that I know is that as Americans we are always stronger when we come together.
Since essential businesses are able to operate at the time of me writing this, we want to share how we plan on servicing you moving forward since we fall within that category.
A normal day for me would usually be delivering 6-8 orders daily based on our schedule. We are a licensed and insured cottage bakery that has always offered delivery.
However, going forward we want to make sure that we do our part to flatten the curve as well as serve you safely.
Going forward all deliveries will be contact free. Contact free delivery is an option that a lot of restaurants have been choosing as well.
Here is how our contact free delivery works.
First, you will be given a delivery appointment time to ensure that someone is home to receive your order.Once you choose for our bakery to deliver to you, your items such as cakes,cupcakes,pies,chocolates or whatever you order will be placed at a designated spot near your door.
After we have safely returned to our delivery vehicle we will notify you by phone and let you know its safe to come to your door and pick up your purchase.
And that's it. This allows us to remain 6 feet apart and to do our part with social distancing.
During this time we have also decided to adjust our schedule and delivery zones.
We are currently delivering up to 20 miles only.
We deliver between the hours of 2pm- and 5pm only unless it is for a corporate order/large volume order,
The minimum order amount for delivery or pick up with us is $45
With some ingredients hard to find we are limiting certain menu items if needed.
We are currently shopping for ingredients once a week so it is best to place your orders in early.
